Sustainability Commitment
1% Back to the Planet
Harvest Week 2024 is partnering with Zero Foodprint to redistribute 1% of all event ticket sales to regenerative agriculture and healthy soil initiatives in Colorado.
Zero Foodprint (ZFP) is a nonprofit organization mobilizing the food world around agricultural climate solutions.
Named “Humanitarian of the Year” by the James Beard Foundation in 2020, ZFP sees the food system as a major solution to global warming as well as a major cause.
ZFP members crowd-fund grants for farmers to switch to renewable farming practices—proven to be the most impactful initiative yet toward solving global warming.
Sustainability Partners
We're working with sustainability partners to ensure our event utilizes sustainable practices to decrease the use of resources and generation of waste.
You won't see any landfill bins at this year’s event, because everything you're handed can either be composted (food, compostable napkins), recycled (event menus), or taken home (Harvest Week glassware).
A huge thank you to Scraps and EP Distribution for assisting in our sustainability efforts.
