The GrowHaus
Cultivating Community-Driven Food Justice
Since 2009, The GrowHaus has worked to cultivate community-driven food justice by partnering with community members to provide food access, health and wellness education, and leadership development. The GrowHaus’ programs initially focused in a cluser of immigrant Latino neighborhoods, known as Globeville, Elyria, and Swansea, but have expanded to serve Denver’s culturally diverse and vibrant neighborhoods.
As a community-led organization, many of The GrowHaus’ team members are from the neighborhoods served and are stepping into management roles for the first time in their careers. By investing in community members’ professional growth and career pathways, the organization is cultivating community wealth for generations to come.
